Welcome to our first Virtual Fashion don't. While roaming a random beach, I ran across what I thought was a lovely red head. I of of course immediately thought of our Gingir and zoomed in for a closer look. I mentally gagged.
Where to begin with how wrong this look is?! Let's take it from the top. In Second Life the one with the best video card truly wins. So if your video card is less than stellar, one should pick hair that's not a glompy mess. (See what I did there? Made up that word....yeah). To make matters worse, she decided to choose a hair tied with a scarf. Even with my high end video card, this looks horrible. But to be fair, with the proper outfit this hair could look fabulous...Too bad she didn't have the perfect outfit.
For some reason most women in SL think the bigger breasts are best. Add to it the new physics engine where boobs now move and bounce and you have a recipe for disaster. A woman who's boobs literally block her face, yes I know, the fantasy of a lot of men, but VERY unflattering in Second Life. Even worse is choosing a body shape that doesn't flatter big breasts. Big breasts are most beautiful when paired with nice shapely hips, a generous back side and feminine shoulders.
So what we have here are no hips, no back side to balance out the body, and wide shoulders, making her look like a line backer with boobs. Honestly if this were a real person they'd tip over! Her jeans, low rise, are so not what's in this year and therefore should have had a shirt covering her mid section. Instead she opted to get a top with the shirt open (which is fine if you're an SL stripper, but not for just walkin around, and decided she needed a belly ring. Ugh how 90s!
The only great part of this outfit was the shoes! Cute little wedges that could go with just about anything. The only thing ruining it? Pink toenail polish (shakes head). And I am willing to be this girl thinks she's so very in so very hot and she would be, again if she were stripping, not standing around on the pier where yachts and people wearing gowns and tuxes were a mere few feet away. I wont even start in on her skin and how wrong it is, my eyes were already welling over with blood. UGH. I need to take a shower now.
