Maybe you’ve always wondered what it was like to run a night club. Does the thought of getting the first dibs on all the hot guys as soon as they hit the door, get your heart fluttering? Or, perhaps it’s the schmoozing with celebs and getting to show off your new figure you worked so hard to get via your Wii, and add to that, getting to hear the latest music before anyone else does. Adored by all, envied by many…ah sounds like the good life. But perhaps the smoking, hair pulling, the long lines at the bathroom and getting drinks spilled on your new DVF shoes keeps you away from the clubs these days.
Nightclub City offers all the fun of the club, while sitting right in your comfy little chair. At first glance Nightclub City looks like another Café World clone with a club setting tossed in, but after a few minutes of play, sim lovers will feel right at home. You’ll handle the everyday fun and hassles that come with running a night club. You’re in charge of the décor, which affects your club patrons’ disposition and mood.A lavish club will get them to spend more money, whereas a trashy club will send them scurrying for the door.
Your DJ will also play a part in happy club goers by spinning the latest tunes. This is where Club City is really blew us away. These are not dinky little tunes that will annoy you after a few seconds of play, but actual songs on the charts. Last night we were privy to the soundtrack of the new Step Up movie.Your DJ also has the ability to dedicate a song to that one lonely hot guy in the crowd, which will make him VERY happy and probably land you a date after you get off.
You’ll also have the ability to hire celebs to visit your club and attract more visitors and if they like your club, they’ll come back all on their own, boosting your club into the coolest of cool stratosphere. But no club is without its’ drawbacks. You’ll have to contend with fighting and people not being able to keep the liquor on the inside places.
This is definitely one of the hidden gems of facebook that will keep you addicted but not take up all of your time. NCC is currently still in Beta, but it already looks very very polished! Leaning toward a new method of play, you won’t be forced keep checking in on your club every single second. You can micro manage or leave it to run itself for a few hours.Your bouncers will handle the rowdy types while you’re gone and your DJ will spin on, even when you’re not there. But it’s so fun to watch all the little idiosyncrasies of your bar patrons, you’ll most likely not want to log out. Oh well perhaps you can convince your boss that you’re gaining valuable business savvy. Better yet, get her addicted too.
