MemoryLoss is an iphone app produced by Dinoroar interactive. With a name like MemoryLoss, you would think it would be a memorization game. It might be memorization in the basics but mainly it’s an elimination game. The instructions were very “helpful” (I sure hope you can hear the sarcasm in my voice as I roll my eyes).
1.You will be shown a scene with images that need to be memorized.
2.Drag the items in the middle of the scene before the countdown ends!
That sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. Level 1 will give you 6 items on a beach that you need to memorize. The picture will change quickly and you’ll have 10 items to choose from and the same background picture. You need to move the 6 from the previous picture to the middle, but what do you do with the items you don’t need? You can’t delete them, can’t drag them off the screen. You need to choose a corner and move all the items you won’t be using. It doesn’t even matter in which order you put them. Once you have the correct items in the correct pile you will get a pop up that says “YOU WIN”.
That is the whole game. Each level gives you more items to remember but the game never changes. Sure, it’s a different background with different items, but it’s the same game. Over and over.
My recommendation? Don’t waste you $3.99. It’s not even worth it as a children’s game for long road trips. There are other free memory games out there that are actual memory games and are a whole hell of a lot more fun to play. Just say no to MemoryLoss.
